SMU earns 90-53 win against Western Illinois
DALLAS -- — Keon Ambrose-Hylton had 14 points in SMU's 90-53 victory against Western Illinois on Wednesday night.
Ambrose-Hylton added five rebounds for the Mustangs (2-0). Jalen Smith scored 14 points while going 5 of 7 (4 for 6 from 3-point range). Samuell Williamson had 12 points and was 5 of 10 shooting and 2 of 4 from the free throw line.
The Leathernecks (0-2) were led in scoring by Ryan Myers, who finished with 12 points. Western Illinois also got 10 points from James Dent Jr.. In addition, Rodrick Payne had six points and three blocks.
