COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- — Jesiah West had 19 points in Western Illinois' 62-55 victory over Tennessee Tech on Thursday night.
West also added eight rebounds and three steals for the Leathernecks (16-10, 9-4 Ohio Valley Conference). Ryan Myers scored 11 points while going 4 of 9 (3 for 7 from 3-point range). James Dent Jr. had eight points and shot 3 for 8, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc.
The Golden Eagles (9-18, 4-10) were led in scoring by Jayvis Harvey, who finished with 18 points and two steals. Rodney Johnson Jr. added 14 points and seven rebounds for Tennessee Tech. In addition, Josiah Davis finished with 13 points and three steals.
