MARTIN, Tenn. -- — Jacob Crews' 32 points led UT Martin over Southern Indiana 77-68 on Thursday night.
Crews also added six rebounds for the Skyhawks (16-10, 9-4 Ohio Valley Conference). Jordan Sears scored 19 points while shooting 6 for 16 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free-throw line, and added eight rebounds and seven assists. Issa Muhammad finished with 14 points.
The Screaming Eagles (7-19, 4-9) were led in scoring by Jeremiah Hernandez, who finished with 25 points. Southern Indiana also got 17 points, nine rebounds and two steals from AJ Smith. Ryan Hall also recorded 11 points.
