CONWAY, S.C. -- — Kylan Blackmon's 31 points led Coastal Carolina over Georgia Southern 82-75 on Thursday night.
Blackmon shot 11 for 14 (6 for 8 from 3-point range) and 3 of 6 from the free throw line for the Chanticleers (7-17, 4-9 Sun Belt Conference). Jacob Meyer scored 16 points and added four steals. Henry Abraham shot 4 for 6, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points.
Eren Banks led the Eagles (5-21, 5-8) in scoring, finishing with 21 points, four assists and two steals. Eugene Brown III added 13 points and six rebounds for Georgia Southern. In addition, Avantae Parker had 11 points and three steals.
