TROY, Ala. -- — Taryn Todd's 19 points helped Arkansas State defeat Troy 82-71 on Thursday night.
Todd added six rebounds for the Red Wolves (12-14, 7-6 Sun Belt Conference). Izaiyah Nelson scored 18 points and added 12 rebounds and four blocks. Freddy Hicks had 16 points and finished 7 of 14 from the field.
Aamer Muhammad led the way for the Trojans (17-9, 10-3) with 22 points. Myles Rigsby added 12 points for Troy. In addition, Tayton Conerway had 12 points and two steals. The Trojans ended a six-game winning streak with the loss.
