OXFORD, Ohio -- — Tyler Morgan had 19 points in Texas State's 75-65 victory against Miami (OH) on Saturday.
Morgan added eight rebounds for the Bobcats (1-1). Kaden Gumbs scored 14 points while shooting 6 for 12, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc. Brandon Love shot 5 of 11 from the field and 3 for 8 from the line to finish with 13 points.
Darweshi Hunter led the way for the RedHawks (0-2) with 21 points. Jaquel Morris added 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks for Miami (OH). Mekhi Cooper also put up 11 points.
