OREM, Utah -- — Ethan Potter had 16 points in Utah Valley's 70-59 victory over UT Rio Grande Valley on Thursday night.
Potter added seven rebounds for the Wolverines (13-14, 8-8 Western Athletic Conference). Trevin Dorius scored 15 points and added 14 rebounds. Jaden McClanahan was 4 of 8 shooting (1 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 11 points.
The Vaqueros (6-20, 2-13) were led in scoring by Daylen Williams, who finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. UT Rio Grande Valley also got 14 points, eight rebounds and four blocks from Saliou Seye. Elijah Elliott also put up 12 points and five assists. The loss was the Vaqueros' ninth in a row.
