Jacksonville State earns 61-51 win over Liberty
LYNCHBURG, Va. -- — KyKy Tandy scored 14 points as Jacksonville State beat Liberty 61-51 on Wednesday night.
Tandy also had six rebounds for the Gamecocks (10-7, 2-0 Conference USA). Marcellus Brigham Jr. added 12 points while finishing 5 of 7 from the floor, and he also had six rebounds. Andres Burney finished 5 of 10 from the floor to finish with 12 points, while adding five rebounds and five blocks. It was the sixth straight win for the Gamecocks.
Kaden Metheny led the way for the Flames (11-6, 0-2) with 15 points and two steals. Kyle Rode added 12 points for Liberty.
