SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Quatarrius Wilson tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead Southeast Missouri to a 66-51 win over Denver on Saturday, the final day of Santa Clara’s Cable Car Classic.
Alex Caldwell and Skyler Hogan led SE Missouri with 16 points each.
SE Missouri closed the first half on a 15-3 run for a 29-20 halftime lead. The Redhawks (3-4) scored the first eight points after halftime and maintained a double-digit lead for most of the second half.
Ade Murkey had 15 points and Jase Townsend added 13 points for Denver. Robert Jones had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers (3-5).
Southeast Missouri plays Abilene Christian on the road on Thursday. Denver plays Jackson State at home on Tuesday.
