ATLANTA -- Isaiah Crawley registered 18 points and eight rebounds as Georgia Southern beat Georgia State 79-70 on Friday night.

Ike Smith had 15 points and six rebounds for Georgia Southern (18-12, 12-7 Sun Belt Conference). Calvin Wishart added 12 points. Simeon Carter had 11 points.

Justin Roberts had 21 points for the Panthers (18-12, 11-8). Kane Williams added 15 points. Nelson Phillips had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Corey Allen, who was second on the Panthers in scoring coming into the matchup with 14 points per game, had only four points. He failed to make a shot from 3-point range (0 of 5).

The Eagles leveled the season series against the Panthers with the win. Georgia State defeated Georgia Southern 82-77 on Jan. 25.
