PHILADELPHIA -- Grant Riller had 22 points as College of Charleston got past Drexel 76-65 on Saturday in the Colonial Athletic Conference opener.
Brevin Galloway had 16 points for the Cougars (7-6), Sam Miller added 13 and Zep Jasper had 12 points and six assists.
Camren Wynter had 21 points for the Dragons (7-7), James Butler added 18 points and 13 rebounds and Sam Green had 14 points.
Zach Walton, the Dragons' leading scorer heading into the matchup at 13 points per game, was held to only 2 points. He was 0 of 6 from beyond the arc.
Drexel finished at 40% for the game while the Cougars were 11 of 20 from behind the arc and shot 54% overall. The Cougars were up by 16 with 7:06 to play but the Drax scored nine straight points to cut the margin to seven.
