Jacksonville beats Stetson 76-69 behind Notae, Harris
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- JD Notae and Devon Harris scored 21 points apiece and Jacksonville pulled away in the second half to beat Stetson 76-69 on Wednesday night for its fifth straight win in the series.
Jace Hogan added 17 points for the Dolphins (11-12, 5-1 Atlantic Sun), who are off to their best conference start since the 2010-11 season.
Hogan's jumper sparked a 14-3 run and the Dolphins led 52-43 on Harris' layup -- his 500th career point -- with 12:03 to play. The Hatters closed to 65-62 on Luke Doyle's 4-point play with 2:42 left, but Tanner Rubio hit a corner 3 and the Dolphins made six free throws in the final 32 seconds to seal it.
Luke Doyle scored 16 points, Leo Goodman had 11, and Angel Rivera 10 with four assists for the Hatters (10-13, 2-4), who have lost four straight.
