Hahn, Norl send carry Omaha past Fort Wayne 90-85
OMAHA, Neb. -- Mitchell Hahn scored 21 points and Daniel Norl added 19 points and Omaha beat Fort Wayne on the strength of 12 3-pointers for 90-85 on Saturday night.
Hahn and Norl scored 14 of Omaha's last 15 points and Hahn went 7 of 10 from the foul line and Norl made all four of his free throws in the final 2:16 of play to seal the win.
Xzavier Taylor's jump shot with three minutes left gave Fort Wayne a 79-75 lead before Norl made a layup and Hahn's free throw and dunk with 1:50 left put Omaha ahead for good.
Zach Jackson scored 16 points for Omaha (9-17, 4-6 Summit) which made 27 of 54 shots.
Fort Wayne (16-12, 5-6) got 22 points from John Konchar, Bryson Scott scored 19, Kason Harrell, 16 and Taylor 10. The Mastodons made 15 of 39 (38.5 percent) from 3-point range but missed half their 12 free throws.
