CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Makale Foreman made six 3-pointers and scored 22 points and Chattanooga beat The Citadel 85-82 on Thursday night.
Makinde London added 16 points and Joshua Phillips and Rodney Chatman 14 each for the Mocs (9-17, 3-10 Southern), who snapped a two-game skid by shooting 57 percent, making 11 3-pointers.
The Citadel (9-15, 5-7) trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half and was 11 down with 5:47 to go before getting within one twice, the final time with 1:20 left after Kaelon Harris scored four straight points. But Rodney Chatman got the game's final basket with 18 seconds left and the Bulldogs missed two 3-point attempts in the final five seconds.
Alex Reed scored 20 points, Zane Najdawi 14 points and Harris 12 with Frankie Johnson grabbing 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Chattanooga grabbed the lead in the early minutes and led 45-35 at halftime.
