Kempton, Cohen lead Lehigh over Princeton 76-67
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Tim Kempton scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Jordan Cohen added 20 points on 7-for-8 shooting to send Lehigh past Princeton 76-67 on Sunday.
It was tied at 34 at the intermission and after the break, Kempton hit a pair of free throws and a 3 before Cohen's 3 for a 42-34 lead.
Devin Cannady's 3 with 10:01 remaining pulled Princeton to 52-47. Later, Spencer Weisz hit a 3 and followed with a layup to cut the Tigers' deficit to 64-61. But Kempton took over, scoring on a 3-point play, converted two free throws, and Cohen added a pair from the line to seal it.
Austin Prince added 14 points and five rebounds for the Mountain Hawks.
Henry Caruso led Princeton (0-2) with 18 points and five rebounds, and Steven Cook tallied 15 points as they both shot 6 for 9 from the floor.
