HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Jon Elmore matched his career high with 35 points, Stevie Browning added 27 and Marshall defeated Toledo 111-105 in overtime on Saturday night.

Jonathan Williams had 28 points and nine rebounds and Steve Taylor Jr. had a career-high 27 and 10 for Toledo.

Austin Loop's 3-pointer with 1:46 in OT put the Thundering Herd on top for good, 105-102. After a Toledo free throw, Browning made a layup to make it 107-103 at 1:10. The Rockets missed on the next possession before Marshall turned an offensive rebound into two Elmore free throws with 22 seconds to play. After another Toledo miss, Browning iced it with two more free throws.

Browning's layup with 26 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 93 and then Ryan Taylor blocked a game-winning attempt by Steve Taylor. Ryan Taylor finished with 16 points and four blocks.

Marshall (6-3) got 63 percent (42 of 67), including 9 of 19 behind the arc and 18 of 23 at the line and only had 10 turnovers.

Toledo (4-6) shot 53 percent (39 of 73), going 11 of 28 from distance, but was just 16 of 29 at the line.
