Arkansas-Pine Bluff holds on for 62-60 win over SE Louisiana

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- JoVaughn Love hit two late jump shots and grabbed a rebound off a missed free throw to help Arkansas-Pine Bluff hold on for a 62-60 win over Southeastern Louisiana in the Barclays Center Classic on Saturday night.

Trailing 58-51 with 2:27 left, Southeastern Louisiana's Marlain Veal made three free throws and a layup, Dimi Cook hit two free throws and Keith Charleston had a layup to close to 60-59 with 48 seconds remaining. Love's second jumper with 20 seconds left provided the margin of victory.

Loved finished with 15 points for the Golden Lions (2-5). Ghiavonni Robinson had seven points, five steals and three assists. Eleven Arkansas-Pine Bluff players had two or more points.

Keith Charleston had 13 points and eight rebounds to lead Southeastern Louisiana (1-6). Joshua Filmore made 3 of 6 from beyond the arc for 10 points.
