Landis, Konchar rally IPFU past Oral Roberts 68-63
TULSA, Okla. -- Max Landis scored 28 points, John Konchar added 16 with 14 rebounds and IPFW rallied in the second half to defeat Oral Roberts 68-63 on Thursday night.
Obi Emegano had 20 of his 27 in the first half as Oral Roberts took a 36-27 lead.
The Mastodons (17-6, 6-2 Summit) turned up the defense in the second half but didn't take the lead until a 10-0 run that started with less than six minutes remaining. DeAngelo Stewart scored five straight with his layup tying the game at 59 with 3:34 to play. Konchar followed with a 3-pointer.
Oral Roberts (11-12, 3-6) was still down three when Landis followed his own miss with a rebound and was fouled. His make pushed it back to two possessions with 33 seconds left.
The Golden Eagles had 10 turnovers, nine in the second half, and made just 21 of 63 shots.
