Cromer, Guyn lead ETSU to 86-83 win over UNCG
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- T.J. Cromer scored 20, including the winning 3-pointer with eight seconds left, and Ge'Lawn Guyn had a career-high 28 points to lead East Tennessee State to an 86-83 win over North Carolina-Greensboro on Saturday.
Kayel Locke scored 10 straight points for UNCG, the last two of which put the Spartans up 83-80 with 1:37 left.
Guyn hit a 3, his sixth of the game, to tie it 27 seconds later.
The Buccaneers (9-6, 2-0 Southern Conference) forced a shot-clock violation against UNCG with 36.9 seconds left and Cromer's 3-pointer from the right wing, with the shot clock dwindling, made it 86-83.
UNCG's Diante Baldwin missed a potential tying 3 as time expired.

Guyn tied a career-high by making 6 of ETSU's school-record 15 3-pointers. Lester Wilson hit 5 3s and scored a season-high 17.
