KENT, Ohio -- Jimmy Hall and Deon Edwin combined to score 35 points as Kent State closed out the nonconference portion of its schedule with a 104-58 rout of Division III Oberlin College Saturday night.
Kent State (9-4) is now 3-1 all-time in the series. Oberlin won the last meeting, 62-60 during the 1945-46 season.
The Golden Flashes pulled away steadily in the first half. Khaliq Spicer's dunk with 11 seconds left in the first half sent Kent State into intermission with a 48-23 lead.
