Hamilton, Skeete lead Buffalo over Toledo 73-68
TOLEDO, Ohio -- Blake Hamilton scored 17 points, Jarryn Skeete added 16 and Buffalo never trailed, hanging on to beat Toledo 73-68 on Saturday night.
The Bulls had a 14-point lead midway through the second half, and led 65-59 with 3:35 to go. Buffalo then missed its next three field goals, and Jordan Lauf and Nathan Boothe each made a pair of free throws to pull the Rockets to 65-63 with 1:36 left. Hamilton answered with a layup, and the Bulls made 6 of 8 from the line to seal it.
CJ Massinburg had 13 points and Rodell Wigginton added 10 for Buffalo (12-9, 5-3 Mid-American Conference).
Boothe scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Rockets (12-9, 5-3), who have lost three straight. Jonathan Williams and Jaelan Sanford added 15 points apiece.
