KENT, Ohio -- Jimmy Hall scored 22 points and Kent State handled Bowling Green 70-54 Tuesday night.
Hall was 10 of 14 from the field with nine rebounds for the Golden Flashes (19-11, 10-7 Mid-American). Galal Cancer scored 18 points with three 3-pointers and Kellon Thomas added 10 points and six assists.
Bowling Green (14-16, 5-12) was led by Spencer Parker with 15 points and eight rebounds. Wesley Alcegaire scored 14 points with three 3-pointers. The Falcons shot under 38 percent and were outrebounded 39-28.
Kent State used a 14-5 run to lead 26-17 midway through the first half and carried a six-point lead into intermission.
A seven-point spurt early in the second half -- including a 3-point play by Hall -- gave the Golden Flashes a 46-32 lead and they cruised from there.
