LOGAN, Utah -- Kyle Ingram netted a double-double, scoring 19 points with 10 rebounds as Idaho State beat Texas-Rio Grande Valley 76-64 on Wednesday night.
Ingram finished with 9-of-13 shooting from the field for the Bengals (4-7). Geno Luzcando scored 17 points with three assists and five rebounds and Ethan Telfair added 15 points and nine assists. The team averaged 48.2 percent shooting from the field and 68.4 percent from the line.
An Ingram jumper with 10:27 to play sparked a 15-3 run and Idaho State took a 65-59 lead with 6:13 left. Telfair hit a 3-pointer to make it 73-62 with 1:34 to go and the Bengals cruised from there.
Texas-Rio Grande took a 36-31 lead at the break and had a 56-50 advantage midway through the second half.
Dakota Slaughter posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Vaqueros (3-10).
