Dartmouth beats Longwood 78-54 to break 3-game skid
HANOVER, N.H. -- Evan Boudreaux scored 17 points and Miles Wright put up 15 as Dartmouth beat Longwood 78-54 Tuesday night, its biggest victory over a Division I opponent since December 2013.
The Big Green (4-6) went deep to their bench -- 16 players saw at least two minutes of court time -- and shot a season-high 51 percent (26 of 51) as they muzzled Longwood (3-10) and broke a three-game losing streak.
Boudreaux, a freshman who's been Ivy League Rookie of the Week three times already, shot 4-for-8 from the field and 8-for-10 from the foul line. He also grabbed nine rebounds. Wright also grabbed nine rebounds. Guilien Smith, in his first career start, and Connor Boehm chipped in 11 points each.
Dartmouth opened with a Boehm 3-pointer and led 11-0 with treys from Boudreaux and Wright.
Lotanna Nwogbo led the Lancers with 17 points and 11 boards.
