South Alabama rolls over Division II Spring Hill 79-50
MOBILE, Ala. -- Ken Williams had 17 points and Georgi Boyanov added 15 points on a perfect night to lead South Alabama to a dominating 79-50 victory over Division II Spring Hill on Monday night.
Boyanov was flawless from the floor (4-4) and the free throw line (7-7), and also grabbed seven rebounds. Nick Stover had eight points and dished out a career-high five assists for South Alabama (3-4). Williams recorded the 900th point of his career.
The Jaguars were 25 of 47 from the floor for a seasons-best 53.2 percent. They also outrebounded Spring Hill 32 to 22.The Badgers were 19 of 47 (40.4%) from the floor.
South Alabama jumped out to an early lead, was ahead 42-21 at the break, and won the second half 37-29.
Walter Massey made 6 of 11 field goal attempts for 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Spring Hill.
