Rider rolls over Morgan State 71-49

BALTIMORE -- Xavier Lundy scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds as Rider University rolled over Morgan State 71-49 on Wednesday night.

Lundy finished with 5-of-9 shooting including three from distance for the Broncs (3-9). Khalil Thomas added 12 points with 10 rebounds and Jimmie Taylor and Khalil Alford chipped in nine points apiece. Rider averaged 55.3 percent shooting from the field, 55.6 percent from the line and made 14-of-27 (51.9 percent) from beyond the arc.

The Broncs used a 10-2 run to take a 23-13 lead with 6:26 left in the half. They led 38-22 at the break.

In the second half, Rider continued its pace and Alford drained the team's 14th 3-pointer to extend the Broncs lead to 65-35 with 7:56 to play.

Cedric Blossom led the Bears (2-8) with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kyle Thomas added 10 points.
