Wake Forest rallies in 2nd half to beat Bucknell 90-82
LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bryant Crawford scored 21 points and Devin Thomas had 18 and 12 rebounds and Wake Forest took rallied in the second half to defeat Bucknell 90-82 on Sunday.
The Demon Deacons (2-0) trailed 48-37 at halftime as the Bison (1-1) hit 8 of 15 3-pointers.
Crawford, who had 3 points in the first half, had 8 in a 16-3 run opening the second half for a 52-51 lead. The freshman also had five of his seven assists in the second half.
It was a 1-point game midway through the half before Wake Forest got some breathing room. When John Collins made two free throws with 5:40 to go, the Demon Deacons led 77-66.
The Bison got within 81-78 with three minutes to play but Mitchell Wilbekin, who had a career-high 17 points, stopped the momentum. Crawford made 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch as Wake Forest finished 28 of 38.
Chris Hass made 7 of 17 shots, including 4 of 9 3-pointers, and was 8 of 10 from the line, to score 26 points for Bucknell. He had 18 in the first half. Zach Thomas added 18.

Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons were down 13 points in the first half, allowing them to have their biggest comeback since erasing a 16-point deficit against North Carolina State on January 22, 2013, an 86-84 win. ...
