FRESNO, Calif. -- Julien Lewis scored a career-high 30 points and made six 3-pointers, Marvelle Harris added 23 points and Fresno State beat Colorado State 87-73 on Wednesday night.
Lewis, a senior, was 11-of-16 shooting, including 6 of 7 from distance, in front of Fresno State's largest crowd of the season at 9,948.
Colorado State pulled to 50-38 early in the second half but Lewis and Harris combined for an 8-0 run and the Bulldogs cruised.
Karachi Edo added 13 points for Fresno State (21-9, 12-5 Mountain West) and Cullen Russo had seven points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
Fresno State went on a 15-2 run over six-plus minutes to build a 32-16 lead and the Bulldogs used a stingy half-court defense to extend its lead to 43-23 at halftime.
Joe De Ciman and Antwan Scott scored 15 points apiece for Colorado State (15-15, 7-10). Tiel Daniels added 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting.
