Fenner with 18 points as Nevada downs Air Force 72-52
RENO, Nev. -- D.J. Fenner scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Nevada downed Air Force 72-52 on Wednesday night.
Elijah Foster and Eric Cooper, Jr. added 11 points apiece for the Wolf Pack (14-9, 6-5 Mountain West Conference) who were 52 percent from the field overall, 85 percent from the line and had a 41-28 rebounding edge over Air Force.
Nevada scored first and led all the way, surging 19-8 to start and extending its lead to 36-23 at the break.
Fenner scored 14 of his 18 points in the second half. His second 3-pointer of the game put the Wolf Pack out front 63-42 with 5:27 to play and Nevada cruised to the win.
Pervis Louder scored eight points for the Falcons (12-13, 3-9). Hayden Graham added seven points and four rebounds.
