SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Jordan Goodman had 19 points, Deshawn Delaney added 16 and New Mexico held off George Mason 69-58 in the consolation round of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Friday.
New Mexico (3-1) led by nine at the half and maintained that margin for most of the second half, despite the Patriots efforts to cut into it.

The Patriots shot 34 percent for the game, connecting on just 18 of their 53 field goal attempts.
