Green Bay Phoenix @ Oakland Golden Grizzlies
Felder with 20, leads Oakland past Green Bay 69-66
ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Kahlil Felder scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists and Oakland held off Green Bay for a 69-66 win on Thursday night, handing the Phoenix their first loss in Horizon League play.
Green Bay's Turner Botz forced a steal and fed Keifer Sykes to pull the Phoenix within 69-66 with 48 seconds left. Oakland ran the clock down, called a timeout, and Tommie McCune missed a jumper with 14 seconds remaining to leave the door open for the Phoenix.
But Green Bay (14-4, 3-1 Horizon League) couldn't answer when Sykes missed a potential game-tying 3 with 5 seconds left.
Corey Petros scored 12 points and Tommie McCune added 11 for Oakland (6-12, 2-2).
Sykes scored 19 points to lead four Green Bay players in double figures. The Phoenix shot 14 of 20 from the line and just 2 of 14 from beyond the arc.
