ALBANY, N.Y. -- Sam Rowley scored 17 and grabbed eight rebounds, and Evan Singletary hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 1:04 to play on Wednesday night to help Albany extend its win streak to 10 with a 63-62 win over New Hampshire.

Two free throws by Jaleen Smith pulled the Wildcats within one, but Wheeler Baker answered with a pair of his own to make it 63-60 with two seconds left. Albany fouled and Smith hit two more from the stripe but, after an Albany turnover, Frank Okeke missed a potential winning 3.
