Houston Baptist drubs winless Central Arkansas 84-61
HOUSTON -- Anthony Odunsi scored 15 points by converting 9 of 10 from the free throw line as Houston Baptist beat winless Central Arkansas 84-61 on Monday night.
The Huskies (8-8, 3-3 Southland Conference) built a 17-point lead in the first half and cruised to the finish.
Houston Baptist shot 55.1 percent from the field, knocking down 27 of 49 shots, including 3 of 8 from distance, and was 27 of 30 from the free throw line. Eleven players scored for the Huskies. Tyler Russell had 11 points and Ricmonds Vilde and Colter Lasher each added 10 points.
Jake Zuilhof and Mike Martin scored 15 and 14 points, respectively, to lead the Bears, who got 11 points from Thatch Unruh and 10 more from Jordan Howard.
Central Arkansas (0-16, 0-5) and Florida A&M (0-18) are the nation's lone remaining winless teams in Division I.
