BURLINGTON, Vt. -- Hector Harold scored 12 points and hit a key 3-pointer with 4:35 remaining to help Vermont defeat Dartmouth 55-52 on Wednesday night.
Dre Wills added 11 points with nine rebounds and four assists for the Catamounts (8-8), who shot 46.7 percent from the field. Trae Bell-Haynes finished with eight points and four assists.

After Mitola's 3-pointer gave Dartmouth a 45-44 lead, Wills made a layup, Zach McRoberts drilled a 3 and Bell-Haynes hit two free throws to put Vermont up by six. Mitola made another from deep, but Harold countered with his own trey to put Vermont up by six again.
A shot-clock violation gave Dartmouth a chance to tie it late, but Malik Gill's deep 3-pointer was no good in the final seconds.
