HANOVER, New Hampshire -- Alex Mitola hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead Dartmouth past Maine 74-51 on Saturday.
Mitola was 7 of 12 from the field, including 4 of 9 from 3-point range, for Dartmouth (2-4). Connor Boehm added 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
Troy Reid-Knight paced Maine (1-6) with 11. Till Gloger scored all eight of his points in the first half. The Black Bears were held to 32 percent shooting (16 of 50), including 2 of 21 from behind the arc.
Reid-Knight's basket pulled Maine within 44-38 with 15:31 left, but the Black Bears didn't hit their next field goal until 3:42 remaining and trailed 68-42.
Brandon McDonnell scored all seven of his points during Dartmouth's 24-2 second-half run and Mitola made two 3-pointers.
