Princeton scores last 11 points to beat Columbia 85-83
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Hans Brase scored a career-high 23 points and Princeton scored the final 11 points to rally for an 85-83 win over Columbia on Saturday to close out the Ivy League slate.
After a tight game throughout, Maodo Lo made back-to-back 3-pointers to give Columbia a nine-point lead -- the biggest of the game -- with 2:08 to go.
Brase answered with a three-point play, then his layup with 15 seconds to go put Princeton up by one. He missed the ensuing free throw after being fouled, and Columbia's Cory Osetkowski grabbed the rebound. But after a timeout, Lo lost the ball and Nate Hickman fouled Clay Wilson, who made 1 of 2 from the line to give Princeton (15-14, 8-5) a two-point lead.
Lo's last-second 3-pointer rimmed out.
Columbia (13-15, 5-9) lost its last four games. The Lions were paced by Lo's career-high 37 points.
