ABILENE, Texas -- Jordan Stevens scored 27 points, nailing 6 of 9 from beyond the arc, as Duquesne rolled over Abilene Christian 102-81 on Saturday.
Duquesne made 12 of 23 3-point attempts (52.2%). TySean Powell had 18 points, L.G. Gill added 13 and Eric James had 12 for the Dukes (2-0).
Abilene Christian (1-2) led 13-12 midway of the second half. The Dukes quickly took control to lead 46-38 at the half. The Wildcats had trimmed the lead to 54-48 with 14:58 remaining, but the Dukes went on a 27-12 run to pull ahead 81-60 with 7:42 left in the game.
Duquesne won the rebound battle, pulling down 40 to ACU's 30.
ACU's Parker Wentz, who made 4 of 5 3-point attempts, totaled 31 points. He made 8 of 13 field goal attempts and hit 11 of 12 free throw shots.
Harrison Hawkins added 17 points for the Wildcats.
