DELAND, Fla. -- Brian Pegg had 21 points, six rebounds and three assists to lead Stetson to a 96-85 win over Palm Beach Atlantic on Thursday night.
Cameron Harvey contributed 22 points on 8-of-9 shooting, including 6 of 6 from 3-point range, for Stetson. The Hatters made 35 of 65 (54 percent) field goals and Pegg finished 10 for 12 from the field.
Derick Yepes tallied 16 points, five rebounds and four assists and both Clayton Williams and Michael Simpson added 14 points for Palm Beach Atlantic. .
Grant Lozoya made a 3-pointer midway through the first half to give Stetson a 32-8 advantage.
Stetson (2-2) went into halftime with a 51-34 lead and Pegg's 10 second-half points helped Stetson pull ahead by 22 with 5:48 left.
The Sailfish finished on a 20-9 run, but it was not enough to bridge the gap.
