Hall propels Kent State past Ball State 63-52
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Jimmy Hall scored a career-high 32 points on 14-for-17 shooting to lead Kent State to a 63-52 win over Ball State on Saturday.
Hall also had eight rebounds and Kris Brewer added 11 points as Kent State (14-5, 5-1 Mid-American) shot 51 percent from the field on 49 attempts to extend its win streak to five.
Kent State took control with a 12-2 run that included three buckets from Hall to close out the first half and take a 32-23 advantage into the break. The Golden Flashes continued to pull away in the second half.
Sean Sellers led Ball State (7-10, 2-4) with 16 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and six rebounds. Franko House added 13 points and Bo Calhoun had 12 for the Cardinals, who have lost four straight.
