KENT, Ohio -- Devareaux Manley made five 3-pointers, Jimmy Hall had 10 rebounds and each scored 19 points as Kent State beat Texas-Pan American 74-54 on Friday night.

Kris Brewer added 10 points for Kent State (9-4), which took its largest lead at 72-45, capping a 17-5 run on Hall's tip-in with 6:36 to play.

The Golden Flashes jumped to a double-digit lead in the first eight minutes and led by 17 before going into halftime with a 40-25 lead. Pan American (5-9) got no closer than 14 in the second half.

Janari Joesaar finished with 27 points with 6-of-9 3-point shooting and nine rebounds for the Broncs. He had 19 of the Broncs' 25 first-half points, shooting 7 for 11 while the rest of the team went 3 for 15.

Joesaar only took three field-goal attempts in the second half, making all of them.
