TOLEDO, Ohio -- Julius Brown scored 19 points with seven assists and four rebounds to lead Toledo to an 87-59 victory over Chicago State on Saturday.

Brown did it hitting 7 of 10 from the field and 5 of 7 from beyond the arc for the Rockets (4-4). Jonathan Williams added 13 points and Jordan Lauf chipped in from the bench with 12 points and six rebounds. J.D. Weatherspoon led all players with seven rebounds.

The team sank 60.8 percent from the field overall and 84.2 percent from the line and outrebounded Chicago State 37-23.

Chicago State led early in the first period but the Rockets powered ahead just before the break with a flurry of 3-pointers by Brown and Lauf to lead 44-29 at halftime. Toledo maintained as double-digit lead throughout the rest of the game.

Anthony Glover scored 15 points from the bench for the Cougars (2-8).
