San Diego leads all the way, beats Pacific 68-48
SAN DIEGO -- Johnny Dee and Duda Sanadze combined for 41 points and San Diego led all the way in a 68-48 victory over Pacific on Thursday night.
Dee finished with 21 points after shooting 4 of 5 from distance. Sanadze added 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting overall, and Christopher Anderson chipped in nine assists. The Toreros (14-12, 7-7 WCC) shot 11 of 14 from the free throw line.
San Diego led by nine points at the half and was up 49-34 with 9:03 left to play. Pacific (10-15, 2-11) could get no closer than 13 points the rest of the way. Sanadze made back-to-back 3-pointers for a 61-42 lead with 4:22 remaining.
T.J. Wallace scored 11 points and Ray Bowles added 10 for the Tigers, who shot 34.5 percent from the floor and 4 of 16 from distance in their sixth straight loss.
