Javonte Green leads Radford over Siena 76-66
RADFORD, Va. -- Javonte Green had 15 points and 15 rebounds and Radford got the separation it needed with a late first-half run for a 76-66 victory over Siena on Friday night.
R.J. Price and Brandon Holcomb added 10 points apiece for Radford (7-4), which closed the first half on a 15-5 run to lead 38-29 at the break.
Siena (3-6) closed to 58-52 on Maurice White's layup midway through the second, but the Highlanders answered with five straight and held steady from there.
Brandon Holcomb and Jalen Carethers had three blocks apiece for the Highlanders, who had 10 overall.
Rob Poole led the Saints with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Siena had 26 offensive rebounds and 12 steals, but shot only 30 percent from the field.
Marquis Wright added 14 points and seven rebounds, Javion Ogunyem had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Ryan Oliver added 11 points and six steals.
