N. Colorado dominates Colorado Christian 93-58
GREELEY, Colo. -- Jordan Wilson and Corey Spence scored 14 points apiece to lead Northern Colorado to a dominating 93-58 victory over Colorado Christian on Monday night.
Tevin Svihovec and Drew Bender had 12 points each and Tim Huskisson added 10.
Northern Colorado (2-2) held a slim 38-32 lead at intermission but overwhelmed the Cougars in the second half, racking up 55 points while limiting the Cougars to 26.
The Bears made 12 of 20 3-pointers and converted 30 of 51 field goal attempts (58.8%), while limiting Colorado Christian to 17 of 48 from the floor (35.4%). The Cougars, who had nailed 8 of 19 3-pointers in the first half, were 0 of 9 in the second. They were just 6 of 24 from the floor in the final period.
Tyler Shields had 17 points and Wayne McCullough added 10 for Colorado Christian.
