LORMAN, Miss. -- Luther Page scored 20 points to lift Alabama State to a 58-54 comeback win over Alcorn State on Saturday.
Trailing by three points with 3:30 to play, Alabama State (11-6, 5-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference) scored nine of the last 11 points in the game to snatch the win. Terrance LeFlore hit the go-ahead jumper with 2:28 to play.
Brandon Graham contributed 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Hornets, who extended their win streak to four despite shooting just 39 percent from the field.
Alcorn State (7-12, 4-3) led 24-21 at the break but couldn't hang on, shooting just 37 percent and landing only 4 of 15 from 3-point range.
Octavius Brown led the Braves with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Anthony Evans and Marquis Vance added 12 apiece.
