SAN ANTONIO -- Kaj-Bjorn Sherman and Jordan Sims each scored 16 points, leading four players in double figures as Texas-San Antonio rolled over Huston-Tillotson 90-62 on Wednesday night.
UTSA (2-6) snapped a two-game losing streak, shooting 56.7 percent from the field and scoring 52 points in the paint against NAIA Huston-Tillotson (0-8).
The Roadrunners made 6 of their first 7 attempts from the field and took a double-digit lead on a bucket from Devon Agusi with 8:59 left in the first half. Huston-Tillotson never came within single digits after that point.
Keon Lewis had 15 points for the Roadrunners, and Hyjii Thomas contributed a strong all-around effort with 11 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.
UTSA out-rebounded the Rams 54-27, led by Thomas' performance and Lucas O'Brien with 10.
Devonta Davis scored a game-high 21 points for the Rams off the bench. Jonathan Douglas added 12.
