Wright State wins 83-33 against Manchester
DAYTON, Ohio -- Jerran Young scored 14 and Wright State dominated Manchester 83-33 in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic Monday night.
Wright State (2-2) jumped ahead 19-4, led 50-17 at the half and held Manchester to only 16 second-half points. The Raiders biggest lead was 82-24 with 5:16 remaining. Wright State had 12 players log at least ten minutes of action.
Wright State shot 53 percent from the field while holding the Spartans to just 25 percent.
Silas Sims led Manchester (0-3) with 12 points, but the Spartans connected on just 2 of 20 3-point attempts.
Wright State wraps up play in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic this weekend with a pair of games in Mobile, Alabama, taking on Houston Baptist on Friday, Nov. 22, and host South Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 23.
