DAYTON, Ohio -- AJ Pacher scored 21 points and JT Yoho added 17 as Wright State dominated Mount St. Joseph in the season opener for both teams Sunday.
The Raiders, coming off a record-setting 23-win season, didn't waste any time as they started the game on a 12-3 run. Yoho and Pacher combined for 9 of those first 12 points.
Pacher scored all of his points in the first half, propelling Wright State to a 43-24 lead at the break. Wright State shot a blistering 56 percent from the field for the game.
Jerran Young also added 10 points to go with his game-high 10 rebounds for the Raiders.
David Mann led Mount St. Joseph, a Division III program, with 13 points. The score could have been a lot worse, but the Lions connected on 10 of 23 3-point attempts.
