FRESNO, Calif. -- Tyler Johnson scored 18 points with six rebounds as Fresno State defeated Colorado State 75-66 on Saturday night.
Marvelle Harris had 16 points and four rebounds for the Bulldogs (13-13, 6-7 Mountain West Conference). Alex Davis scored 14 and Cezar Guerrero 11.
Colorado State led early in the first half but Fresno State rallied in the five minutes before the break with a 12-0 run to lead 38-25 at halftime.
Johnson hit back-to-back 3-pointers midway through the second period to extend the Bulldog lead 63-47 with 9:14 to play. The Rams closed to within eight points with an 11-2 run but an Alex Davis dunk and a combined 5 of 6 from the free throw line in the final 1:25 sealed the win for the Bulldogs.
Daniel Bejarano led the Rams (14-12, 5-8) with 24 points and six rebounds. Colorado State committed 13 turnovers during the game.
