Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeats Alabama A&M 64-61
PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Marcel Mosley scored 20 points, Tevin Hammond and Daniel Broughton each chipped in 11 as Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated Alabama A&M 64-61 Saturday night.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff was down six points at the half, but had a 29-20 advantage in the second half to secure the win. Mosley was 7 of 15 from the field, including three 3-pointers. He follows a 19-point game in the Golden Lions victory over Jackson State on Monday night. Hammond and Broughton also grabbed seven rebounds.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (7-15, 5-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) has won three-straight since snapping a five-game losing skid.
Jeremy Crutcher hit all five of his 3-point attempts on his way to 20 points to lead Alabama A&M (8-12, 5-5). Tyler Davis scored 14 points and Demarquelle Tabb added eight points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
